Na Min An
Ph.D. Student at KAIST AI
Creative. Dilligent. Motivated. Open-Minded. Resourceful.
These are the qualities that I strive to embody as an AI researcher. I believe that AI can meaningfully assist people, such as simulating visual prostheses for individuals with visually impairments. This vision shaped my first research experience as a research intern at Im Lab under the guidance of Prof. Maesoon Im.
I am currently a graduate student at CVML Lab, adviced by Prof. Hyunjung Shim (Dr. James Thorne from 2023-2025). I am excited to start an internship at NAVER AI Lab starting April 2026, guided by Prof. Dongyoon Han.
My current research interest focuses on developing assistive, trustworthy AI and ML systems, with particular emphasis on mitigating modality and social biases in multimodal and generative models from interpretability perspectives. Please feel free to contact me at naminan@kaist.ac.kr!
